Our First Communion Sunday
We celebrated our first Communion and first month as The Well. We had a great potluck dinner, with several visitors. We continue to grow as a church body with several fist-time visitors. Continue to spread the word about what we are doing at The Well. Thank you all for the wonderful food and dessert that was provided.
This Coming Sunday, September 2nd at 6PM
This Sunday, September 2nd, we will continue our study of God's plan for the body of Christ, Unity and Diversity. We will discuss the different gifts distributed by God to the church body followed by a survey to help each member to identify the gifts that God has given. This will be a great time to learn more about God's plan for you in the body of Christ. In order to prepare, you might read the following Scriptures:
1 Corinthians 7:7; 1 Corinthians 12:8-10; 1 Corinthians 12:28, Ephesians 4:11, Romans 12:6-8; 1 Peter 4:11
Wellsters (our youth program)
The Wellsters will continue to learn about their gifting and generosity. They are drawing pictures that will be given to children in an African school. The school was started by Dr. Will Langstaff, the Sr. Pastor of our dear friends at The Servant House.
Special Needs
Special Needs/Outreach/Missions
At The Well Church of Lewisville, one of our primary objectives is to feed and clothe those in need, to take care of the orphans and widows, and to show the love of Christ to a fallen world. To accomplish this, it takes everyone of us! We are asking each of you to prayerfully ask the Lord how you might help us reach the lost, the hurting, and those in need. We have succesfully helped others through generous gifts. With that said, please consider a monetary gift to our ministry. 100% of what we receive will be used to help those in need through missions support, outreach and disaster relief. We expect to have our 501(c)3 filing completed within the next 30 days.
We are currently asking for help in funding a security wall that The Servant House, in Flower Mound, TX, is trying to build for their pastor in Africa. If you feel led to help, please help us raise $1,400 for this current need.
Thank you, God bless and have a wonderful week!
