Called to Community Pastor Tim Vanderwater Sunday, June 9th, 2019 Looks Like Heaven Worship Service 1 Thessalonians 5:14 |
As a believer in Jesus Christ, every Christian has been called to minister to one another in the context of community. 1 Thessalonians 5:14 gives us instruction on how we are to carry this out. Pastor Tim Vanderwater delivered this message at the Looks Like Heaven community worship service at The Servant House.

As we kick off a new year, it is a good time to reflect on our mission as a church, a body of believers, with Jesus Christ as the head (Ephesians 5:23-24). The Well Church of Lewisville is focused on developing a loving community, making disciples who make disciples, utilizing the spiritual gifts of the entire congregation, and using our collective resources to reach those in need (both spiritually and physically). It is a Biblical and practical view of the New Testament church. To kick-off the year, Pastor Tim shared this video from Francis Chan, who sees the church in a very similar way as The Well Church of Lewisville. We encourage you to please watch this video, which is a good beginning to a series of messages and teachings that Pastor Tim will be leading over the next several Sundays.
