Pastor Tim's Facebook Live message during the Coronavirus pandemic. Perhaps this has been a wake-up call to the church to be reminded that we are not of the world and we need to grow spiritually. As we begin to go back to "business as normal" we need to make sure we do not drift off course. We need to make sure our house is build on the rock. Pastor Tim Vanderwater Sunday, April 19, 2020 Matthew 7:24-27 Pastor Tim's Live Facebook video message given during the COVID-19 Pandemic. Sunday, April 5, 2020 There is a lot of uncertainty and fear these days due to the spread of the Corona virus. I hope God's word and his presence can shake the fear and fill your hearts with hope. In Bobby's message you will hear what God has to say about fear, anxiety, disease and finding peace. Join us for a special guest speaker who has found God's peace even during a stage 4 cancer battle.
God loves us deeply. In fact He loves us so much that He sent His one and only Son to die on a cross in order to pay for the penalty of sin so that we could be made right with Him. In honor of Valentine's Day, pastor Tim looks at the most important Christian virtue: Love.
If someone were to ask you, "Who are you?", how would you answer? Many times the answer we give is not our true identity. Sometimes it is a label that others give us, sometimes it is a temporary identify, such as a student or a job title. To truly live fully, one should strip away all of the titles given by society and look at who God says you are. In this message, we will look at our TRUE Identities in Christ.
Billy Graham once said, "You will never understand who you are until you understand who God is". It is all about perspective. When we compare ourselves to others we might be wealthier, prettier, smarter, faster, and the list goes on. However, when we compare ourselves to a holy God, all that changes. Isaiah found this out first hand. His encounter was life changing. In this message, we look at who we are and who God is so that we can better understand the gift of salvation.
In this message, guest speaker Dan Wade explains the job description of being a Christian.
The poorest person with faith is more powerful than a wealthy person with none. Peter demonstrated this in Acts 3. Peter had no money to give to a poor beggar, but what he did have to offer the beggar changed the beggar's life far more than money had the power to do. Learn how Peter's faith was far greater than silver or gold.
We need godly role models more than ever today. As Christians, we should be that model for our youth. Well, what does such a role model look like? In this message, we will look at 7 Habits of Godly people.
