Simeon waited patiently for the coming Messiah. He stayed devout and trusted God's promise. His faith and patience payed off. Anna was also devout. She worshipped and prayed day and night. Both Simeon and Anna held no official title, were not well known, but stood on God's word and waited patiently for the promised Messiah. God used the ordinary to proclaim the extraordinary.
